5th Annual Governors Island Ice Sculpture Show

Please note that  due to extreme cold weather the 5th annual Governors Island Ice Sculpture Show has been rescheduled to Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 12pm.

Gov­er­nors Island Arts presents the fifth annu­al Gov­er­nors Island Ice Sculp­ture Show, where ten artists/artist teams—many who have never carved ice before—will use chainsaws to bring their creations to life live on stage.

Each artist/artist team will be paired with professional ice carvers from our carving partner Okamo­to Stu­dio

This thrilling live outdoor event will also feature food trucks, a DJ set from Miss Ali­cia with sound by Kar­lala Soundsys­tem, carving demos and workshops with Okamoto Studio, and more.
