Celebrate 516 Day at Green Acres, a Nassau County-wide event honoring local pride, shopping, and community spirit 🎉
Join on Saturday, May 16th for a full day of entertainment, giveaways, and interactive experiences throughout the center.
Calling All Early Birds: 516 Walking Club
Kick off 516 Day with the 516 Walking Club! The center will open at 7:30 AM through the Green Acres Dental entrance. Simply scan the QR code posted at the entrance sign, fill out form, and complete your first 516 steps, any time before 12 PM.
The first 50 participants to complete the QR code form before 12 PM will score a $5.16 Starbucks gift card plus a Green Acres swag bag, available for pickup at Center Court starting at 12 PM.
Play & Win
Head to Center Court from 2 PM – 6 PM for Live Trivia with the Game Show Experience. Compete for over 100 chances to win prizes, including gift cards ranging from $25 to $516. You don't want to miss it!

Complimentary food and drink samples from Green Acres retailers such as Quickway Hibachi, Smoothie Planet, and many more!
Local Artist Showcase featuring Long Island artists Mike Stanko, Darren Boerckel, Yuliya Lobach, and Jim Zabatta
Reflections Art Show featuring student work from Valley Stream South High School
Community Impact Hub featuring local organizations and nonprofits
Roaming performers including stilt walkers, balloon artists, and face painters
Live DJ & Photo booths located at the front entrance and Center Court
Starting at 2 PM, visit the Green Acres giveaway table at Center Court. The first 100 guests will receive exclusive Green Acres merch, goodies, and mystery gift cards while supplies last.
The first 30 guests can also receive a Care Bears x Kung Fu Tea blind box collaboration item, available while supplies last.
Valley Stream Teachers Association for a Critical Need Blood Drive with the New York Blood Center (located by Macy's Men's from 10am-4pm)
