Hoops in the Heights

Come be a part of the community and celebrate a new basketball court in Jackson Heights with Hoops in the Heights!

After receiving a grant from @project_backboard, students at Voyages Prep High School in Elmhurst are hosting a Block Party to celebrate the completion of a renovated and painted mural on the basketball court at Playground 90 in Jackson heights!

They will be hosting a Block Party on June 12 to celebrate the completion of the project and have partnered with Councilman Shekar Krishnan, Assemblywoman Jessica Gonzalez-Rojas, @overtime, @black_surfing_rockaway, and  other local businesses to bring the party to life!

This is a community event for all ages and there will be games, food, music, a raffle and more!
