Summer HD Festival at the Metropolitan Opera

The Met’s 17th Summer HD Festival features five thrilling performances from the company’s Live in HD series of cinema transmissions. The free showings run September 2–7, with approximately 2,500 seats set up in front of the opera house each night. Seating is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis. No advance tickets or reservations are required.

Friday, September 4, 7:30PM - Bellini’s I Puritani

Saturday, September 5, 8PM - Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin

Sunday, September 6, 8PM - Gabriela Lena Frank’s El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego

Monday, September 7, 8PM - Puccini’s La Bohème

In accordance with entry protocols and security measures for the Metropolitan Opera’s 2026 Summer HD Festival, please be advised that Josie Robertson Plaza will be cleared and secured approximately two hours prior to each HD screening. All guests will be welcomed back at designated access points one hour prior to the start of the presentation.
