This is a disruptive, highly visual experience that puts overpriced beauty on blast. From dramatic “beauty complaint” filings to surprise product settlements, every visitor will have a chance to claim real benefits -- a.k.a. e.l.f. Holy Grail products.
The IRL moment channels the nostalgic charm of early 2000s law commercials, brought to life by a cast of theatrical “Affordable Beauty Attorneys” working hard on the case for affordable glam.
To bring The Law Offices of e.l.f.ino & schmarnes to life, e.l.f. is staging a one-day-only stunt inside the Oculus on Wednesday, August 13, where beauty overspending is happening in real time:
Heidi N’ Closet will appear in character as “e.l.f.ino” with a fleet of live “Beauty Attorneys” will be stamping files, filing cases, and engaging directly with passersby in full courtroom glam!
Guests can “file a claim” and pull from a mystery case file to win surprise savings — including full-size e.l.f. products and more! A jumbo Settlement Scale will track the real amount that New Yorkers say they’ve spent on prestige beauty.
The event is free and open to the public 12:30-6:30pm.
