Since 2006, The Metropolitan Museum of Art has celebrated Women’s History Month by honoring exemplary women leaders across a wide range of sectors who are driving transformative change and shaping a more sustainable future through their significant contributions. Known for driving transformative change and shaping a more sustainable future, the 2026 honorees are distinguished for breaking boundaries and advancing lasting impact across the arts, education, and government, while steadfastly working toward the creation of a more just and equitable future.
