In anticipation of the debut of Grotesquerie, FX announced it will compose the first-ever “Symphony of Screams,” harvesting screams from fans anxiously awaiting the new 10-part series from executive producer Ryan Murphy.
To collect the ghastly notes needed for the first-of-its-kind “Symphony of Screams,” FX is deploying in-person scream chambers in some of the nation’s top cities (Los Angeles, New York City, and Nashville) on Friday, the 13th of September. Once fans enter the chamber at the Ovation Hollywood Courtyard, they will surrender their screams in fright of FX’s newest horror drama, Grotesquerie, for a chance to be featured in the symphony. The work of horrific art, composed by Blake Slatkin, will drop in the coming weeks in anticipation of the premiere of Grotesquerie on September 25th at 10PM on FX (streaming next day on Hulu.)
All screams are collected for a chance to be featured in FX’s Grotesquerie “Symphony of Screams” on a first-come, first-served basis for people 18+. Fans who can’t experience FX’s Grotesquerie “Symphony of Screams” Chambers in person can submit their screams by uploading a video to Instagram and TikTok using the hashtags #SymphonyOfScreams and #GrotesquerieFX.
