Socrates Sculpture Park’s Halloween Harvest Festival is back with family-friendly workshops, a community resource fair, as well as New York’s second largest dog costume contest co-presented with Chateau le Woof.

Celebrate the autumn season with pumpkin decorating and creative workshops led by Drag Story Hour NYC and Wearable Tracy. Treat your four-legged friend to some ice cream just for dogs. It’s a Halloween Harvest like no other that you do not want to miss!

12:00-2:00 PM – Pumpkin Carving Contest 

12:00 – 3:00 PM – Drop-in Pumpkin Decorating Workshop. Pumpkins provided, while supplies last or bring your own!

12:00 – 3:00 PM – Drop-in Costume Making Workshop with reused materials

12:00 – 3:00pm – Community Resource Fair
Participants will include The Department of Mental Health and Hygiene, Champlain Hudson Power Express, Greater Astoria Historical Society, Growing Up Green Charter School and more!

1:00 – 2:00 pm – Drag Story Hour NYC: Halloween Makeup Tutorial and Spooky Storytelling
2:00 – 3:30 PM – Public vote for your favorite pumpkin!

3:00 PM –  Annual Halloween Dog Costume Contest co-hosted with Chateau le Woof. 3 Prizes for Winner of the Contest, Runner Up and 3rd Place.
