Every St. Patrick’s Day, Irish Arts Center celebrates with the most cherished of Irish traditions: sharing stories. This year, they will shine a light on other authors whose works have been banned throughout history, including Edna O'Brien, Claudia Rankine, Sally Rooney, Carmen Maria Machado, Samuel Beckett, and Kaylani Juanita, alongside titles by some favorite Irish, Irish American, and NYC writers.
Come get YOUR free book at any Book Day pop-up station across the city. The IAC family of volunteers, staff, sponsors and supporters, along with partners at the New York City Council, will be out from 8am until the books run out!
