Macomb’s Bridge Library welcomes you to experience the Words Matter: Making Art Inspired by Baldwin and the Guggenheim Museum! Join educators from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in celebration of James Baldwin’s in a 90-minute workshop exploring the power of words and their visual expression. Through hands-on artmaking activities, we will learn about artwork currently on view at the Museum and how artists have created visual art inspired by poetry, music, and literature.
As a special treat, all in-person attendees will receive a free copy of a James Baldwin book.
