McCain, the maker of 1 in 4 fries around the world, is inviting New Yorkers to dig in and learn more about the brand’s regenerative farming journey and its ‘Farms of the Future’ event, an immersive experience taking place in New York City’s Chelsea Market.
Running from Thursday February 27th to Saturday March 1st, this interactive, larger-than-life experience invites consumers for a look at McCain’s regenerative agriculture practices, bringing them closer to the fries they love and all that goes into growing the humble spud.
Visitors will go through the looking glass as they get hands-on with various regenerative agriculture elements. Along the way guests will encounter giant wildflowers, buzzing bees, insects and more, while an immersive soundscape transports them from the bustle of the city to the calm of the countryside.
At the experience, guests will get the chance to play McCain’s brand-new Augmented Reality game, ‘Farms of the Future AR’, which turns users into farmers and teaches them how soil health may impact potato production while competing for exclusive prizes and rewards like swag made from upcycled and recycled materials, free coupons, or even a farm themed getaway.
Once guests have explored the ‘Farms of the Future’ experience, they can check out the ‘Fries of the Future Cafe’, serving up free, crispy and delicious regeneratively farmed fries that Taste Good and Feel Good.
Cookbook author and celebrated food personality Dan Pelosi, aka "Grossy Pelosi," will also be providing fry taste tests with his custom dipping sauce for visitors at 11am ET on Thursday, 2/27!
