Times Square is turning into an open-air opera stage for all to watch the Met Opera’s Opening Night of Dead Man Walking for free!

Enjoy a live simulcast of the Met premiere of Dead Man Walking live in Times Square for free. No tickets are required. Seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at Duffy Square with additional standing room available. The pre-show begins at 6pm and the opera begins at 6:30pm.

Can’t make it? You can enjoy a live radio broadcast of the performance on Metropolitan Opera Radio on SiriusXM channel 355 and on the Met website.

The new season of 2023 -2024 starts tonight with Jake Heggie’s Dead Man Walking, the most widely performed new opera of the last 20 years,.
