Movies We Missed: Free Movies at United Palace with Lin-Manuel Miranda

The United Palace is a stunning theater built in 1930 in Washington Heights, featuring beautiful architecture and known as the place where spirituality, art, & community unite

The theater hosts free movies ft. talk-backs with Lin-Manuel Miranda & special guests. Enjoy this year’s theme “Movies We Missed” ft. films released during the 2023 writers’ and actors’ strikes that received limited promotion.

The first film of the year is Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe on Monday, February 26 at 7pm. Tickets are up for reservation on February 19 at 10am.

The film will be followed by a talk with Miranda, director Aitch Alberto and stars Max Pelayo and Reese Gonzales. 

On Monday night, standby ticket holders will form a separate line outside the UnitedPalace. Event staff will admit them, first come first served, based on the theatre's remaining capacity before showtime.
