The Museum Mile Festival is a free annual event where museums on 5th Avenue open their doors for the evening, with free admission, musicians, activities and more. This year marks the 45th year of the festival!
No cars are allowed, so attendees can easily walk from museum to museum and enjoy the attractions and live music along the way. This is not a ticketed event, and it does get very crowded, so be prepared to wait on lines for museum entry.
