Darkness RISING: Live is an annual FREE music and mental health event. Now in its 7th year, the block party features the Black Broadway community and NYC local singers performing inspirational songs + Black mental health providers as guest speakers. The event is hosted by Darkness RISING Project Nonprofit, a 501(c)3 organization which provides direct mental health resources to marginalized communities.
The event will be on 8/24 from 2-6pm at Adam Clayton Powell Plaza in Harlem, NY (163 W 125th St). Enjoy a live concert, free dance class, wellness workshops, vendor marketplace, food trucks, live music, giveaways, and more. This event is free and open to the public.
