CFDA has announced a streaming partnership with Rockefeller Center to bring the American collections debuting at this September’s New York Fashion Week (NYFW) to a public screen for consumer audiences for the first time.
A mixture of livestreams and recorded runway shows will be screened Friday, September 6 through Wednesday, September 11 exclusively at Rockefeller Center, with the viewing screen prominently located at the iconic Rink. The partnership makes Rockefeller Center the only centralized hub–physical or digital–where the public will be able to view NYFW shows. All screenings will be free and open to the public.
Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Tommy Hilfiger, Carolina Herrera, Coach, Khaite, Brandon Maxwell, Tibi, Proenza Schouler, Luar, Willy Chavarria and Ulla Johnson are among the runway shows confirmed to stream throughout the six-day event. Supplemental programming includes recent fashion shows from Thom Browne, Rick Owens, Todd Snyder, KidSuper, and Amiri.
