The 61st Free Shakespeare in the Park season will feature Hamlet and will run for nine weeks at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park starting on Thursday, June 8 through Sunday, August 6.

There are five ways to get a free ticket for Shakespeare in the Park.
In-person distribution in Central Park Free tickets are distributed at 12PM every day a public performance is scheduled at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park.
In-person lottery at The Public Theater A limited number of tickets for each public performance are distributed via an in-person lottery at The Public Theater (425 Lafayette Place). Lottery entries will be taken in the lobby and will be drawn at 12PM.
In-person distribution in the boroughs A limited number of tickets for each public performance are distributed at locations in every borough. Locations change each week, use link for the specific schedule.
Digital lottery with TodayTix A limited number of free tickets are distributed via digital lottery on the TodayTix app on most public performance dates
In-person standby line in Central Park There will be a standby line at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park after the final ticket is distributed by the other methods. Tickets will start to be distributed after 6PM.
Note: A Public Theater Patron ID is required to receive a free ticket. You can create an ID at publictheater.org/register.
