The Davis Center at Central Park Grand Opening

The Central Park Conservancy has announced that the new Davis Center at the Harlem Meer, will be opening to the public on Saturday, April 26..

The Central Park Conservancy in partnership with NYC Parks is redeveloping the Lasker Rink and Pool site as a state-of-the-art facility. The new Davis Center will be uniquely sited within the context of a restored and enhanced landscape and will continue to accommodate recreational and lap swimming and support a robust skating and hockey program. In addition, it will be open year-round for new community-focused programming.

A formal ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Friday, April 25, and on opening day, a community celebration will include food, drinks, live performances and tours. The celebration will start at noon and all are welcome to attend.

The Davis Center is located at the northern end of the park on the East Side between 106th and 108th.
