This September in NYC around Climate Week, the NYC Sanitation Foundation (the official non-profit partner of the New York City Department of Sanitation) is launching The Great Broadway Sweep: the biggest volunteer cleanup this city has ever seen.  

The Great Broadway Sweep will tackle one of the world's most iconic thoroughfares - cleaning all the way from the Battery to the Bronx!

This incredible Week of Action is in partnership with We LOVE NYC, created by The Partnership for NYC and Mayor Adams along with other city and state stakeholders to showcase the city’s strengths and highlight people making a difference.  There will be 10 featured cleanups during the campaign ending with a celebratory closing event in the heart of Times Square.
