Note from Rebeka: Can’t believe June is almost over and its about to be the 4th of July! Anyone else feel like summer is flying by (and is especially rainy this year?) 

This week, there aren’t many brand popups due to the holiday weekend, but there’s a lot to enjoy in NYC for 4th of July. Whether you are traveling or staying local, have a great long holiday weekend!

UPCOMING EVENTS (THIS WEEK)

🎤 Summer Concerts at Hudson Yards (Wednesdays through August 9): Watch thuy (Girls Like Me Don’t Cry) at a free outdoor concert from 6-8pm.

🏝️ A Taste of the Tropics Experience (June 28): Vita Coco Spiked with Captain Morgan Tropical Takeover Tour is coming to Jamaica Queens, with a free performance from Shenseea, tropical party vibes and food, and more

🎥 Paramount+ Movie Nights in Brooklyn (June 29 - September 13): Brooklyn movie series kicks off for the summer across Fort Greene Park, Prospect Park and McCarren Park

🏊‍♀️ NYC Outdoor Pools open for the season (June 29) through Labor Day. These free pools also offer swimming lessons for kids (advance registration required) + newly redesigned cool pools. More details in Reel here.

🎆 Randall’s Island Fireworks & Fun (June 29): Kick off the summer season at Randall’s Island with a free fitness class, dance class, crafts for kids & fireworks at sundown (East River Picnic Area)

🚢 Free Fridays & Movie Night at the Intrepid (June 30): Enjoy free admission to the museum & classic ship films on the Intrepid on the last Friday of every month. This month’s movie is Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

🌮 King David Tacos 7th Anniversary (July 1 - 2): Celebrate with free breakfast tacos with Vital Farms at Vanderbilt Open Streets. 5 lucky golden taco winners will win a year of Vital Farms eggs. 

🧺 Booze-Free Picnic Party (July 2): Enjoy a picnic party with Third Place Bar  for the 4th of July with non-alcoholic drinks, food, and lawn games (Prospect Park)

🇺🇸 4th of July Fireworks: Watch the fireworks along the East River with Macy’s 47th Annual Fourth of July Fireworks + Coney Island is another great spot for fireworks.

🎼 Carnegie Hall Citywide: Free concert series throughout NYC, including at Jackie Robinson Park Bandshell (July 6), Bryant Park (July 7, 14), O’Donohue Park at Beach 17th Street (July 15) and more throughout July
