You are invited to the largest installation in North America of trailblazer and art world icon Yoko Ono’s ongoing work, Wish Tree, from February 14-17.
In the Park Avenue Armory’s iconic Drill Hall, a grove of 92 trees will be installed in honor of the artist’s 92nd birthday. Visitors are invited to contribute personal wishes, creating a large-scale activation of her social practice work.
Wish Tree has served as a powerful symbol of hope and peace, with over a million wishes collected since 1996 and preserved at the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland.
