NYC Pride March & PrideFest

The NYC Pride March on June 30th will begin from 25th Street and 5th Avenue at 12pm. The inaugural March took place in 1970, one year after the Stonewall Uprising, and has since evolved into an annual civil rights demonstration. Its purpose has expanded over time to encompass raising awareness about the fight against AIDS and honoring those we have lost to illness, violence, and neglect.

PrideFest is an annual LGBTQIA+ street fair that combines exhibitors, food, and activities for a day of fun and celebration in the name of equality from 11am-6pm.

Pride on the Plaza Silent Disco @ World Trade Center

  • Oculus Plaza, at Church Street & Fulton Street (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Kick off New York City Pride weekend and dance the night away against the rainbow-lit Oculus!

Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride and join us for Pride on the Plaza Silent Disco at the World Trade Center on Friday, June 28 as we kick off Pride weekend in New York City!

Come dance the night away and join us for a free, silent disco party with three DJs spinning top hits through headphones provided by Quiet Events!

What to bring:

Valid photo-identification to enter. Though this event is free to attend, you MUST have a credit or debit card for the check-in process. If the headphones are NOT returned, there will be a $100 charge to your credit or debit card after the event.

How it works:

When you arrive, you will receive a pair of special wireless headphones. You can adjust the volume and choose between three DJs with a flip of a switch. Each headset has a color LED that shows what channel you are listening to. It is super social; you’re in control of the music! There is no loud music that you need to talk over. Plus, there is no ringing in your ears when you leave!

Please note: Headphones will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, with or without a ticket. This event is weather contingent and open to all ages (kids under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).

All weekend long, visit the rainbow-lit Oculus, which will be illuminated each night from 4PM-12AM on Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30 in celebration of Pride.
